The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you as to what information may be collected from you when visiting the Site, how such information will be used by PTI, PTI Member(s) (the “Member”), and/or other persons or entities, with whom such information may be shared. Collection of Personal Information: The primary goal of PTI in collecting personal information from you is to assist the Member in providing you with the products and information that you request from the Member. Personal information also allows PTI to provide the information, services and products that you have requested from the Member. Personal information received from you online will only be used by the Member to which you submitted your information, except as where PTI is otherwise required by law to disclose such information. When you visit the Site, PTI and the Member will not collect any personal information about you (including but not limited to your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card number if you place an order) unless you provide it voluntarily. If you do not want to disclose your personal information, please do not submit it.
How Personal Information is used: The Member may use your personal information to contact you. For example, the Member may send you marketing or promotional materials including emails or other information; may respond to your comments or requests for information; or may contact you if needed in the course of processing or shipping your order for products or services offered through the Site. The Member may enhance or merge personal information with data obtained from third parties for the same purposes. The Member may use your personal information to improve their marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, and to improve their content and product offerings. The Member may use your personal information to deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests, such as new services and promotions. The Member may also elect to occasionally send visitors who have opted-in, emails describing new products, promotions, or events. Collection of Aggregate and Statistical Data: PTI may collect certain aggregate data called web log information (such as your web browser, operating system, pages visited, etc.) and use cookies when you visit certain web pages. For instance, when you visit the Site, our web server will automatically recognize some non-personal information, including but not limited to the date and time you visited the Site, the pages you visited, the referrer (the website you came from), the type of browser you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer, FireFox), the type of operating system you are using (e.g. Windows 2007, OS X, etc.), and the domain name and address of your Internet Service Provider. How Aggregate and Statistical Data is used: PTI uses web log information (such as your web browser, operating system, pages visited, etc.) to help design the Site, to identify popular features, and for other managerial purposes. PTI may share web log information with law enforcement agencies if evidence arises of a violation of computer security or related laws. Statistical Data is used to help the Member in their marketing and promotional efforts.
Data Sharing: PTI and the Member will not share, trade, rent, or sell the personal information of our visitors for use by any business without your consent. However, aggregate and statistical data from our visitors may be shared with our partners. PTI and the Member will share the information necessary to deliver products and services that you specifically request to receive but will limit this information to only what is necessary and required to complete a transaction. Occasionally, PTI and the Member may share personal information from you (such as name, mailing addresses and email addresses) with vendors, contractors or partners of PTI in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for/with PTI. Data Security and Responsibility: PTI is committed to keeping the data you provide us secure and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. Vendors, contractors, or partners of PTI who have access to your personal information in connection with providing services for PTI are required to keep the information confidential and are not permitted to use this information for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for PTI. PTI uses secure connections on the Site to protect credit card information during its transmission. PTI shall not be responsible for harm that you or any person may suffer as a result of a breach of confidentiality in respect to your use of the Site or any information you transmit to the Site.
Cookies: When you view the Site or interactive advertisements, PTI may collect some non-personal information about you. The collection of this non-personal information is done through "cookie" technology. Neither cookies nor web beacons nor web log information collects any personal information. Protection of Children: The Site is a general audience Site that is not specifically designed or targeted at children. We do not knowingly collect, use or disseminate any personally identifiable information from children. PTI believes that it's especially important to protect children's privacy online and encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to participate and monitor their Internet activity.
Modifications to Policy: This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 23, 2009. PTI reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to this Agreement will be effective immediately upon notice, which may be provided to you by posting the latest version on the Site (hereinafter, “Notice”). Your use of the Site after such Notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes. Be sure to review this Privacy Policy periodically to ensure familiarity with its most current version.
